"My instructor was great. I kept thinking, okay..."
My instructor was great. I kept thinking, okay, I actually understand this now, which doesn’t always happen for me. They seemed like they genuinely cared and took the time to explain things in a way that made sense instead of just rushing through it.

"Career services were actually worth it"
I’ll be honest, I was tired of signing up for yet another office/service that was supposed to help me, but career services ended up being really useful. They helped clean up my resume, walked me through interview prep, and didn’t make me feel bad for asking basic questions. The check-ins were helpful without being too much, and the whole job search felt a little less overwhelming because of them. I’m glad I ended up using them.

"Nice Campus Overall"
The campus setup was good overall. The classrooms were clean, the labs were nice and well maintained, and parking was decent enough, though it could maybe be a little better during busy times

"Helpful hands-on practice, but I wish things felt more organized"
The hands-on training was definitely the part I appreciated most. I felt a lot more confident when I was actually doing things in the lab instead of just sitting through class. That said, the scheduling and communication were a little confusing at times, and I found myself wishing for more updates or reassurance about what was going on. Overall, it was okay, but it could’ve been a much better experience with clearer communication.

"Admissions was a lot easier than I expected"
I’ve dealt with admissions offices before where it felt like I had to chase people down for answers, so my experience with Fortis College was a nice change. The admissions team was really helpful with all my questions and paperwork, and they actually called back quickly. I also appreciated that they didn’t make me feel silly for asking the same thing more than once. Overall, it was a smooth way to get started...
